Description:
The old LCDs suffer from a long service life and give up their function after more than a decade of use. The climate control display is a typical defective component in the Porsche 944 and 968CS.

Performance:
This offer includes a repaired Porsche 944 / 968CS digital clock in exchange for your defective clock.
We can replace disconnected conductors, burnt-out capacitors, transistors and damaged housings, as well as scratched buttons, and we have a plentiful reservoir of spare parts. Each clock is always given a new, original display, conductor strips and new light sources. All components are cleaned before reassembly. (Please note that we cannot repair clocks with broken circuit boards).

Installation/removal instructions:
1. detach the triangular black plastic cover at the end of the dashboard, which is accessible when the passenger door is open
2. loosen the screw underneath the long, thin switch strip.
3. carefully pull off the knobs of the two sliders of the heating/air conditioning control with a small slotted screwdriver or plastic spatula.
4. carefully remove the cover panel of the heating/air conditioning control from the side using a plastic spatula or very small slotted screwdriver. The cover is attached with four small clips (two at the top, two at the bottom). Be careful, the old plastic parts break easily. Loosen all four screws of the control panel and pull it forward one centimeter.
5. carefully turn the inner sensor rosette (small, round grille) by approx. 30 degrees and then remove it. Loosen the screw behind it.
6. use a small slotted screwdriver to loosen the cover to the left of the right-hand fan grille and the screws behind it.
7. now you can easily remove the switch strip and loosen the clock with its 2 screw connections. The somewhat stiff plug is not clipped and is simply pulled off.
8. keep the screws in a safe place and look forward to the new clock. Install in reverse order.

Note:
Make sure that the inner sensor hose has not slipped off and ideally use a cable tie to secure it.

Tip:
Avoid buying a digital clock that is "still" intact but has never been overhauled. It's only a matter of time before it stops working. It's better to save time, money and hassle.
