These thrust bearings are a welded steel construction with a galvanized and powder-coated surface. They connect the rear axle tube to the body. Over the years, the original thrust bearings are usually worn out and porous. There are no original replacements, which means that a rear axle with excessively spongy bearings is a problem on many 924-968s.
This rigid variant is suitable for both road traffic and motorsport.
