24x stud bolts Dilavar bolts for PORSCHE 911 G SC 930 964 993

Description:
This set of 24 stud screws is for professionally attaching the cylinder head to the cylinders.
The bolts are the reinforced version "DILAVAR".
From 1974 onwards, Porsche only used aluminum cylinders. Since aluminum has a higher coefficient of thermal expansion, the stud bolts were permanently exposed to high levels of expansion. The high load meant that the threads of the bolts were often stripped or they completely failed and broke. From the Carrera 3.2 onwards, stronger Dilavar bolts were installed in the engines, which solved the problem. When overhauling your engine, we recommend replacing the stud bolts with Dilavar bolts to increase the longevity of your engine.
In addition to the stud bolts, you can also get the washers and cylinder head nuts for the air-cooled Porsche.
