Speedometer disk for PORSCHE 964 993 Carrera Turbo clock face
For the restoration or conversion of your speedometer
Description:
Speedometer dials often fade over the years and are no longer easy to read. When restoring the instruments, it is therefore advisable to replace the speedometer dials. The speedometer dials also need to be replaced when converting imported vehicles from miles to kilometers.
Here you get an elaborate reproduction made of polycarbonate.
As the digitally printed speedometer dials may differ slightly in color from the faded original, we recommend replacing all dials for optimum results.
On the 964 and 993, there were different variants for the speedometer and rev counter depending on the equipment (on-board computer, Tiptronic/gear shift).
We have the different variants and the dials for the additional instruments in our program.
Note on installation:
Do not tighten the fixing screws of the dial, but only lightly tighten them to the dial. Coat the threads of the screw holes (blind holes) with a little clear nail varnish beforehand (use a toothpick).
The nail varnish serves as a screw lock.
Tightening too tightly will cause the varnish to peel off!
To ensure even illumination of the digits, the dial must be glued back in place where it was glued at the factory using a lightly conductive adhesive (thin). We recommend "PolyMax-glasklar" from UHU.
Caution, use very thinly!
