In order to avoid double assembly work, we also recommend replacing the roller gear that can be seen in the background in the picture below. This is the second most common source of error and often fails a short time later. This set includes both gears.

If you disassemble the speedometer in advance, please note that the shaft of the speedometer needle is very sensitive. Grip the center of the speedometer needle and turn it counterclockwise. Pull lightly. Friction is everything that keeps the needle on the shaft.
