Description:
The rubber mounts on the steering gear become porous over time. This results in (invisible) axial play in the steering gear within the mounting brackets. The result is vague steering and unstable straight-line stability. With new rubber mounts for the steering gear, a surprisingly noticeable improvement in steering characteristics is achieved with minimal effort.
