Description:
The most common cause of stabilizer bar failure is damaged rubber bushings. As the rubber bushings become brittle, the stabilizer bar loses its damping properties over time. Due to mechanical stress, the stabilizer bar bushings eventually become worn and rigid, leading to rattling noises in the suspension. Defective stabilizer bar bushings also manifest as vague handling when cornering.
