Brake discs and brake pads are among the most important wear parts of motor vehicles. A failure of the braking system can have serious consequences. Therefore, brake discs and brake pads should be checked and replaced at regular intervals.
Similar to brake pads, worn brake discs are noticeable through a reduction in braking performance and a significantly longer braking distance. During braking, vibrations in the steering wheel or lateral skidding of the vehicle may also occur.
When replacing the brake discs, the brake pads should always be replaced as well. Furthermore, in brake systems with a wear indicator, this should be replaced as soon as it is triggered.
