Description:
These caps sit between the valve cover and the cylinder head. The caps seal the camshaft bearing seats. Early 996/986 engines only used this type of cap. It was used on the front and back of both the intake and exhaust camshafts. Later engines have a different cap on the front (where the timing chains run) of one camshaft.
