About us

Richard is our captain. He has been enthusiastically at the helm of partworks since 2015. After completing a dual degree program to become an industrial mechanic and mechanical engineer, he quickly became bored with working in the automotive industry. The bureaucracy and inertia within a corporation did not suit his drive. It was a good thing that, out of sheer high spirits, he bought himself a 944 S2 as a DIY vehicle right at the start of his studies. This meant that he was financially forced to find solutions for Porsche spare parts. The first product was the repair kit for the 944 digital clock. The business started in a shared room and, thanks to this fantastic team and their tireless dedication, continues to grow. Richard's hobbies include a passion for challenging projects: running marathons, flying gyrocopters, kickboxing, and completely out-of-control cotton swab restorations. God, the loud metalwork at the workshop was so annoying!

Maren is our Head of Product Management. She implemented ISO 9001 certification for us in 2019 while still a working student in industrial engineering. She creates and monitors product data, checks reasons for returns, compares the quality of different manufacturers and selects the best items for our product range. Maren impresses with her incredibly fast work pace, her quick grasp of things, and her superb organizational skills. This means she has her small team well under control. In her free time, Maren plays soccer as a striker, builds her own furniture, or rides her racing bike.

Rafael is our CAD designer. With incredible conscientiousness and care, he creates component drawings, tests materials, measures original parts, and installs prototypes in our test vehicles. Whenever there is a need for a manpower in any department, Rafael jumps in and provides support. In product management, he creates data sheets for products, clarifies questions about variants, and researches every unclear detail about a spare part in old Porsche repair manuals or spare parts catalogs. In his free time, Rafael enjoys being an active DIY enthusiast and entertaining his children. Or the children entertain him, you don't know for sure.

Fabio heads system administration and IT at our company. Starting out as a working student in product management, he is now an industrial engineer and coordinates our merchandise management system, our shop system, and our warehousing system. Yes, Fabio can actually do just about anything: repair forklifts, plan events, and design web designs. Our all-purpose Fabio, in other words. Never one to throw him off balance, Fabio is a fantastic teammate. No task seems too difficult for him and he is always there to help and troubleshoot anything. In his free time, Fabio enjoys tinkering in his home workshop, playing tennis, making music, or running his side business as an event technician.

As a Systems & Data Engineer, Rodrigo is responsible for our sophisticated data processing. As a mechatronics engineer, he previously worked for various automotive suppliers around the world and became friends with Richard many years ago. When he joined partworks in 2019, he pursued his passion and retrained himself from automotive quality manager to programmer. As an incredibly fast keyboard acrobat, Rodrigo is not only incredibly talented at coding, but is just as gifted on the piano or guitar. Music is his great passion, and so no company event is without music. Given his background, it's just a given...

Lara is Richard's right-hand man as his adjutant. With so many confusing ideas, plans, and endless projects, someone has to keep track. Lara grew up with classic cars. She initially trained as an automotive saleswoman at BMW, then completed her business administration degree in the automotive industry. Lara then worked in the global trade of exclusive classic cars. Her highly structured, diligent, and thorough approach to work makes her the perfect manager. After work, Lara is an avid handball player and loves driving around the country in her 1961 MG 1500.

Netty is our good soul in receiving goods and was happily brought to our company by her niece. As a diplomat and someone who listens to everyone, you could also call her "Mutti". With her warm yet direct manner, Netty manages to keep her helpers on track without anyone ever being angry with her. With a keen eye and tireless consistency, hardly a production error escapes her in receiving goods. Netty gained her experience from her parents' mechanical engineering business. Incidentally, her father invented the mechanism for the detachable trailer hitch (Westfalia). Netty's favorite hobbies are diving and good food!

Massimo is our head of incoming goods. Luckily, he came to us from a tradesman's job through his girlfriend Hannah. Wonderful, now we have a running forklift that's also really smart and good at coordinating. Massimo records inventory, prioritizes warehouse locations based on sales, and builds tools for everyday work. He has a talent for working with our inventory management system and enjoys delving into new topics. In his free time, he takes care of his dog or fixes his own computer hardware. And as if he doesn't get enough exercise at work, he's the most frequent user of our partworks gym.

Deborah is the driving force behind late shipping from our outgoing goods department. Thanks to her reliability and careful work, your orders are sent out safely and packaged even late in the afternoon. Deborah never fails to impress us with her physical stamina, humor, and discipline. This makes her a great match for her Rodrigo; the two met many years ago in Brazil. In her free time, Deborah enjoys sports and good food. She also loves music and gaming. Her poise is invaluable to us, and she is highly respected by the team.
