During brake system installation work, the hose fittings often become stuck. Corroded or kinked brake lines will also fail the vehicle inspection.
Therefore, it is advisable to replace not only the brake hoses but also the lines when performing major work on the brake system to avoid leaks.
An absolutely leak-free brake system is essential for good brake feel.
