Description:
This special wrench is required for installing Bilstein shock absorbers in a Sachs/Boge strut. The shock absorber has a union nut that is screwed to the strut. The wrench engages precisely with the nut using its flared prongs. This allows the required torque, taken from the instructions included with the shock absorber, to be applied.
This tool is suitable for shock absorbers with part numbers 3900 (Set 1940) and 2996 (Set 1896).
