Excellent workmanship

Description:
If the odometer/trip odometer on your vehicle has failed, one or both of these gears are usually the cause. To avoid duplicate installation work, we recommend replacing both gears.

Dimensions:
Diameter E15 = 6.90 mm (15 teeth)
Diameter 15-K = 15.4 mm (15 teeth)
Less common alternative gears: 12-K, 16-K, or 17-K
If the small gear is an E20 (20 teeth), you will find a separate listing for it in our shop. If in doubt, please call or send a short email.

Unfortunately, matching the motor type/transmission type/year of manufacture/model to the correct gear type is so complex that only counting the teeth provides 100% certainty.

Quality:
Our gears are meticulously manufactured using injection molding, true to the original design, and are not 3D-printed in-house creations. We work with a manufacturer specializing in the production of plastic gears and a global market leader in repair solutions.
The so-called involute tooth geometry is retained; this is the only way to ensure low-friction sliding of the tooth flanks between the gear pairs.
We use the thermoplastic material Celron with graphite additives. These ensure low friction and wear-free operation.

If you disassemble the speedometer beforehand, please note that the speedometer needle shaft is very delicate. Grip the speedometer needle in the middle and turn it counterclockwise, pulling gently. Friction is all that holds the needle on the shaft.
