If the oil warning light in your Porsche lights up sporadically or permanently while driving, this may be due to a defective oil pressure switch. In addition, a broken oil pressure sensor can lead to messages such as "oil pressure too high" or "oil pressure too low" in the instrument cluster. If the oil pressure sender is defective, the message “Oil pressure implausible” may appear in the error memory of the control unit.
