Exactly original design

Description:
With this new repair display, you can repair the defective display of your Golf III on-board computer.
The display only fits Motometer speedometers.
The display is also compatible with the mile speedometer.

Attention:
Two versions of displays were used in Motometer instruments. One version with conductive rubber and one with wire pins for soldering.
This is the solder-in version.

After many years of use and frequent temperature fluctuations, the seal of the LCD elements eventually fails, and the display leaks. Although the overall function of the component is still fully intact, the numbers and symbols can no longer be read completely. As a "do-it-yourself" solution, even hobbyists can repair the display themselves using the components offered here, along with our support and illustrated instructions. Soldering is required for the repair.

Because display aging is a common problem, we generally advise against buying used "still intact" components. Even with these, it's only a matter of time before the display fails. Replacing your own display is therefore always the cheaper and best long-term solution.

We stock both the left display for the odometer and the right display for the on-board computer (MFA).
Replacing the displays is also recommended when modifying the speedometer to ensure its long-term functionality.

No programming or similar adjustments are required after the repair.
