Exactly Original Design

Description:
This offer includes a replacement display for repairing the MFA (Multi-Function Display) in your VW Corrado or Passat 35i. The "MFA2," the second-generation multi-function display, was also installed in the T4 bus and other VW models. The display is typically located in the left-hand round instrument cluster. Please note that this display is ONLY compatible with VDO instrument clusters and is NOT suitable for MotoMeter speedometers. After decades of use and frequent temperature fluctuations, the seals on the LCD elements fail, and the display leaks. Although the component itself is still fully functional, the numbers and symbols are no longer completely legible. The typical damage pattern is a semicircular shadow on the display. The aging of the associated conductive rubber contacts is also a common reason for incomplete readability of the displays, even if the liquid crystal display (LCD) itself is still fully intact. With this "do-it-yourself" solution, even inexperienced hobbyists can repair the display themselves. The repair requires no complex assembly or soldering. Because display aging is a general problem, we advise against buying used, "still intact" multifunction displays. Even with these, it's only a matter of time before the display fails. Replacing your own display is always the more economical option in the long run.
