Variant if your speedometer/odometer overlaps in the middle

Description:
If the odometer/trip meter on your vehicle has failed, these gears are usually the cause. Due to faulty materials, the teeth crumble over the years, and the counter stops or runs erratically. It usually starts with the small E-gear (planetary gear) breaking. To avoid duplicate assembly work, we recommend replacing these two gears.

Important:
There are two variants; this one has the disc gear and planetary gear as pictured. It can be identified by the adjacent odometer and trip meter readings.

Quality:
Our gears are manufactured using a complex and authentic injection molding process and are not 3D-printed in-house creations. We work with a manufacturer specializing in the production of plastic gears and a global market leader in repair solutions.
The so-called involute tooth geometry is retained; this is the only way to ensure low-friction sliding of the tooth flanks between the gear pairs.
We use the thermoplastic material Celron with graphite additives. These ensure low friction and wear-free operation.

If you disassemble the speedometer beforehand, please note that the speedometer needle shaft is very delicate. Grip the speedometer needle in the middle and turn it counterclockwise, pulling gently. Friction is all that holds the needle on the shaft.
