Description:
This copper sheet allows you to repair the steering column switch of your Porsche.
The thin sliding contact often breaks at the riveted point after years of use. This results in a loss of electrical connection for the horn. Because such a delicate and thin copper sheet is difficult to cut by hand, we have invested in a stamping tool and produced a small series using a stamping process.
The contact sheet fits the transaxle models Porsche 944 (from '86 onwards), 968, and 928, as well as the 964. Because the rivet's contact pin is continuous, the sheet must be soldered. This allows you to save your old steering column switch and avoid the high procurement costs of a new or even used turn signal switch.
