Description:
The air conditioning compressor and alternator in the 944 are driven by the same belt. Therefore, depending on the vehicle's equipment, you will need different V-belts for your components on the 2.5L engine. The 924S and 968 always use this V-belt. On the 944, the number of ribs varies between the early models before 05/85 and the facelift models after 06/85. The belt offered here is only suitable for vehicles with air conditioning. The optional air conditioning system has the Porsche M-code M573. The belt offered here is a so-called multi-ribbed belt and is also called a poly-rib belt by Porsche. If you are also looking for narrow V-belts or timing belts for your transaxle, you will find them in our shop.
