With this new repair display, you now have the option of repairing the defective VDO Modis 120 depth sounder display on your boat and retaining the original display design. There are 2 versions of the VDO Modis 120 depth sounder. One without the small warning triangle in the center of the display and one with a warning triangle. The earlier echo sounder displays up to around 1986 still had the warning triangle and therefore inevitably require the display variant with the warning triangle. You can also see the variants in the offer title and the illustration. The repair is not a challenge even for inexperienced mechanics and will save you high repair costs. If you have another VDO marine instrument with a defective display, you are welcome to contact us and send us photos. After decades in use, it is not uncommon for displays to fail and used replacement modules can also fail at any time.
