Description:
The ignition coils on the modern water-cooled Porsche boxer engines have been installed directly on the valve cover since the 986/996. They are connected to the spark plug connector, which is included here. The ignition coil often fails in the engines due to high temperature fluctuations. Depending on the model year and engine, two variants are installed. Before the facelift, the ignition coils were different to those after the facelift. You can find each variant of the ignition coil individually or a cheaper set of 6 in our store.
