Description:
This fender end panel sits at the height of the A-pillar on the body. The standing plate is called a fender connection plate at Porsche and is supplied including the sheet metal nuts. The front fenders are bolted to these. The stay plate itself is a weld-in plate for body repairs. The 911/912 with a short wheelbase had a slightly different standing plate compared to the late F and G models. However, the early one has been dropped from the Porsche ET program and has been replaced by the later one. Please bear in mind that the bodies of the early 911s were still built by hand. Accordingly, no two vehicles are the same and small sheet metal corrections for perfect gap dimensions are possible.
