Axial joint tie rod for PORSCHE 997 Boxster 987 + bootMany more suspension parts in stock
Description:The joints on track rods are subject to wear, which usually starts with a torn boot. Once the grease has been washed out of the axial joint or tie rod end, the ball joint will fail within a few thousand kilometers. The defective rubber sleeves or rod ends will be rejected by the TÜV at the latest. Depending on the Porsche model, the track rods can consist of two or three main components. These include the axial joint as the inner ball joint in front of the steering gear and the so-called tie rod end at the outer end of the tie rod. Sometimes the axial joint and tie rod end are connected via a separate intermediate tube. Because replacing the tie rod always requires a new wheel alignment with toe-in adjustment, it is recommended to replace the tie rod completely, depending on its condition. In our store you will find a wide range of tie rod ends, axial joints and complete tie rods, including the correct steering boots. If you have any questions, our service team will be happy to advise you.
