Description: If the odometer counter on your transaxle no longer runs, this gear is usually broken. The repair is not complicated and keeps your speedometer in its original condition.
Variants: !US models have the M17 installed. Just search for "M17" in the shop! Many 924 models also have the M14 and some have the M15 installed, we also have offers here in the shop. If in doubt, send us an email with your vehicle details.
A notice: We also recommend replacing the roller wheel (on the same shaft). It is the second most common weak point in the drive. If the roller wheel can rotate on the shaft, it is already damaged. There are 3 different thickness variants (tooth width D1.3; D2.2; D3.0). Measure the tooth width of the gear and, if necessary, order the right one from the shop.

Quality: Our gears are elaborately and faithfully manufactured using injection molding and are not self-made 3D printed products. The so-called involute tooth geometry is retained; this is the only way to ensure low-friction sliding of the tooth flanks between the pairs of gears. The material we use is the thermoplastic Celron with graphite additives. These ensure low friction and wear-free operation.
If you disassemble the speedometer in advance, please note that the shaft of the speedometer needle is very sensitive. Grip the center of the speedometer needle and turn it counterclockwise. Pull lightly. Friction is everything that keeps the needle on the shaft.
