Description:
If the odometer counter on your transaxle no longer runs, this gear is usually broken. The repair is not complicated and keeps your speedometer in its original condition.

Variants:
US models have the M17 installed. Simply search for "M17" in the store!
As a rule, the M11 or M14 is fitted in the 924 models. Occasionally it is an M15. Write to us or count the number of teeth before buying.

Note:
We also recommend replacing the roller wheel (on the same shaft). It is the second most common weak point in the drive. If the roller wheel can be turned on the shaft, it is already damaged. There are 3 different thickness variants (tooth width D1.3; D2.2; D3.0).
Measure the tooth width of the gear and order the right one in the store if required.

If you disassemble the speedometer in advance, please note that the shaft of the speedometer needle is very sensitive. Grip the speedometer needle in the center and turn it counterclockwise. Pull gently. Friction is all that keeps the needle on the shaft.
