Description:
Due to the complex construction with intermediate shaft and two top camshafts, the water boxers of the modern Porsche 911 Carrera and Boxster have a variety of chains and sliding rails. Depending on the displacement or model year, these also differ within a series. For example, the chain guidance between the 3.4L and the 3.6l Carrera engines were slightly changed from 2001 to 2002. The engines of the 911 turbo and GT models, on the other hand, are based on the proven 911 technology from the previous models. Tax chains as well as slide rails and tension rails for the valve control are fundamentally different here.
In our engine components, the vehicle gears are always based on the spare parts program from Porsche. The manufacturers of the tension rails, slide rails and control chains are well -known brands. You can find the components separately for your motor revision or as finished sets in our web shop.
