Connecting rod bearing set for PORSCHE 356 912 Quality from Glyco in standard dimensions... more
Connecting rod bearing set for PORSCHE 356 912
Quality from Glyco in standard dimensions
Description:
The connecting rod, which connects the piston and crankshaft, is subjected to high loads
The connecting rod is guided on the bearing surfaces of the crankshaft with plain bearings (conrod bearings).
A defective connecting rod bearing is primarily noticeable through noise (knocking, clacking), which increases as the speed increases. If a damaged connecting rod bearing is not replaced promptly, significant consequential damage (seizing of the bearing) such as the destruction of the bearing surfaces on the crankshaft can occur. Therefore, defective connecting rod bearings should be replaced immediately.
When working on the connecting rod, the connecting rod bolts and nuts should always be changed.
Here you will receive high-quality replacement according to the title.
Please note that the early 356A require different bearing cups that have the "nose" on the other side.
In addition to connecting rod bearings, connecting rod bolts and other engine components, you will find many other spare parts for your Porsche model in our shop.
Since 1990, Glyco has been part of Federal-Mogul, a global automotive supplier from the USA with around 53,000 employees. Glyco, founded in Wiesbaden in 1897, produces plain bearings, bushings and thrust washers for automotive engines and industrial applications. The Wiesbaden plant is also the headquarters of the global technology center for plain bearings.
