Display climate control panel for PORSCHE 996 climate control LCD repair V1
Description: The early LCDs suffer from the claim of long lifetimes and give up their function after more than a decade in use. The climate control display is a typical defective component in the Porsche 911/996. With this repair kit, you can solve the problem inexpensively and for the long term.
Tip: We advise against buying a "still intact" air conditioning control unit: it is only a matter of time before the display reaches the end of its life expectancy and expires. It is therefore better to save time, money and trouble and install a display that has been manufactured true to the original using modern production technology and tighter tolerances.
Repair note: Installation should be carried out by a specialist, but is supported by illustrated instructions in DE/EN/FR/ES/RU/IT. Only a screwdriver and needle-nose pliers are required for the replacement. No soldering required.
If you would like a repair in exchange, simply contact us or have a look in the store.
Design: The LCD corresponds to the Porsche original design and is not a "similar" solution from another manufacturer. In some cases, Audi displays are installed that require adaptation work in the housing and do not have the original design.
The differences between the first and second generation are also taken into account in our LCD.
No programming or similar is required after the repair.
