2x wheel bearing for PORSCHE 928 S4 from '87- 944 from '86- 968 FRONT SET
The right bearings for the "wide axle"
Description: Wheel bearings on vehicles are the central rolling bearings that guide the wheel over the wheel hub in the wheel carrier. In older vehicles, these are often pairs of bearings, e.g. deep groove ball bearings and needle roller bearings; newer models usually have double-row angular contact ball bearings. In the past, open roller bearings with separate shaft seals were also used. Thanks to "functional integration", these have now been replaced by bearings lubricated for life. If a wheel bearing is defective, this is usually noticeable through "humming" noises when cornering. A bold wobble on the wheel can also provide information about the condition of the wheel bearings. At Porsche, the design of the wheel bearings can also vary within a model series depending on the model year. Here you will find a small selection of wheel suspension ball bearings for the front or rear axle of your Porsche.
FAG was founded in Schweinfurt in 1883 and has been manufacturing rolling bearings for vehicles ever since, initially for bicycles. In 2001, FAG was acquired by the Schaeffler Group. One of the best-known applications of FAG bearings, apart from the automobile, are the spherical roller bearings in the hub of the "London Eye" Ferris wheel.
