In this offer you will receive a repair kit for the display of your Mercedes outside temperature display. The ATA was also used in various Mercedes models.
It shows °C and not °F.

After decades of use and frequent temperature fluctuations, the sealing of the LCD elements eventually fails and the display "leaks". Although the entire component still functions fully, the numbers and symbols can no longer be fully read. The associated conductive contact rubbers also age over time and are a common reason for the incomplete readability of the displays.

As a "do it yourself" solution, you can also repair the display yourself as a hobbyist using the components offered here and our illustrated instructions. No complex assembly work or soldering is required during the repair.
Because aging of displays is a general problem, we generally advise against purchasing used, "still intact" components. Here too, it is only a matter of time before the display no longer works. Replacing your own display is the cheaper option in the long term.

Please note that there are different housing shapes, part numbers and two different numbers of contacts for the displays. The housing shape, the associated vehicle or the part number is NOT a reliable indication of the variant used. 90% of the 6-pin display has been installed. In rare cases, the 10-pin LCD offered here is also available. You can recognize the 10-pin version by the white housing element. No matter what design the housing has or which vehicle it was installed in, if your housing also has a white plastic part installed, this 10-pin display is suitable for you.

No programming or anything similar is required after the repair.
