This crankshaft position sensor fits the Porsche 911 G-models from 1983 to 1989. The pulse generator transmits the engine speed to the DME (Digital Motor Electronics) and is a common source of problems with rough engine running. The crankshaft position sensor ends with the Bosch part number 005 and was used in pairs in the vehicle.
