Description:
Here you will receive threaded sleeves for converting two standard shock absorber struts of the Porsche models 944 S2 and 968. They enable the use of Bilstein B6 shock absorbers.

Procedure:

1. Chisel open the crimped seal of the old shock absorber cartridges and pull out the damping cartridges.

2. Shorten the tubes by 44.5 mm.

3. Remove the zinc coating from the threaded sleeves in the weld area.

4. Carefully hammer the threaded sleeves into the tubes and weld them securely all around. (Before welding, check that the gap between the tube and the threaded sleeve is correct. The damping cartridge must be able to be tightened with the nut by 5 full turns.)

5. Grind the weld smooth, paint it, and assemble the shock absorber.
