Description:
If your vehicle repeatedly bounces while driving on uneven roads or when depressed while stationary, the shock absorbers may be defective and should be replaced. Creaking and squeaking noises are also indicators of this. Here you will find high-quality replacements from the Bilstein brand. In addition to the original B4 replacement, you will usually also find the sportier, stiffer B6 and shorter B8 versions in our shop. This shock absorber with the sportier specifications is suitable for the specified 924 and 944 models with Sachs/Boge struts. A 1990 cartridge wrench with a 50mm inner diameter is required for installation. For pressed-in shock absorbers from the 944S2, we offer a conversion kit under article number 1991, which allows the use of bolted Bilstein shock absorbers as well. August Bilstein founded the company AUBI in Ennepetal in 1873 and began developing and supplying monotube gas pressure shock absorbers in 1954 – a significant contribution to the history of the automotive industry. From 1961, the company entered motorsports, equipping Porsche and Formula 1 racing cars in particular.
