Description:
10 reasons why you should install new rims on your classic car:

1. Security: Old rims can lose strength over time and therefore pose a safety risk. Magnesium rims in particular become brittle and must under no circumstances be heated during processing.
2. History: When it comes to used rims, it is often impossible to understand what stress they were previously exposed to - such as use on race tracks, accidents or processing through heating.
3. Tire Availability: By varying slightly from the original wheel size, modern, cheaper and more available tires can be used, as suitable tires for original wheels are often difficult to obtain or very expensive.
4. Cost of originals: Original rims are often difficult to obtain and, despite their poor condition, are very expensive.
5. Restoration Costs: In most cases, reconditioning an original bike is more expensive than buying a new one.
6. Restoration Quality: As a rule, it is difficult to achieve the same surface quality on a refinished rim as on a new rim.
7. The bigger the better: Original rims are often very small and no longer correspond to today's tastes or current driving conditions. In many cases, larger wheels (1-2 inches more) offer advantages both visually and in terms of driving dynamics.
