Description:
The engines of the Porsche 911 were always equipped with 245mm fan rings and fan wheels, while the racing engines used the smaller 225mm fan wheel and blower ring. Using a smaller diameter in racing engines allowed for increased performance despite the higher engine speeds, without compromising cooling capacity.
