Description:
The timing chain with sprockets, tensioning rails and chain tensioners forms the most important connection between shafts in the engine. It ensures safe control of the valves. If one of the components fails, there is a risk of major engine damage. Mechanical / hydraulic chain tensioners should be serviced regularly to ensure that the timing chain is always correctly tensioned.
