Description:
This offer includes a complete kit for repairing the display of your Audi climate control unit.

After many years of use and frequent temperature fluctuations, the seal of the LCD elements eventually fails and the display "leaks". Although the entire component is still fully functional, the numbers and symbols can no longer be fully read. Aging of the associated conductive contact rubbers is also a common reason for incomplete readability of the displays. This can happen even if the liquid crystal display (LCD for short) is still fully intact.
As a "do-it-yourself" solution, even inexperienced hobbyists can repair the display themselves using the components offered here, along with our support and illustrated instructions. The inner housing of the climate control unit on Audis is usually not only clipped, but the clips are also coated with elastic adhesive/silicone. This must be cut open during disassembly. Except for this special feature, no complicated assembly work or soldering is required.

Because the aging of displays is a general problem, we generally advise against purchasing used, "still intact" components. Here, too, it's only a matter of time before the display no longer functions. Replacing your own display is therefore always the more cost-effective option in the long run.
