Description:
A known problem with the climate control units and radios in the 987 and 997 Porsches is the worn, sticky buttons. Whether it's part of the VW Group's philosophy that interior surfaces have to look worn after a few years, or whether they simply made a mistake with the material, is anyone's guess. In any case, we have been able to solve the problem with these new switches. The toggle and rotary switches are exactly in the original design and fit very well with the other original buttons. Installation requires some technical skill.
Because, in addition to the switches, the LCD displays of the climate control also wear out over time, we offer a replacement display as well as a refurbishment of the climate control unit. This includes replacing the switches and display (climate control unit only).
