Deposit for replacement parts

At partworks GmbH, we offer our customers particularly fair prices for original reconditioned control arms, steering shafts, transaxle shafts, digital clocks and air conditioning control units. This is only possible because our customers send us their old parts to be reconditioned by a certified specialist company.

We charge a deposit on these replacement parts, which is automatically refunded to you as soon as we have received and inspected your old part. Please refer to the item description for the amount of the deposit.

To ensure a safe and smooth process, please enclose a short note with the parcel stating the customer name, invoice number and the relevant chargeback account.

Important: The return of old parts and the refund of the deposit amount is possible up to one year after the purchase of an item in exchange. After that, the right to reimbursement of the deposit amount expires.

Non-typical damages are e.g:

• broken aluminum

• damaged circuit boards

• bent or rusted through components

• in the case of dual ignition distributors, rough damage such as a break under the outer O-ring

• in the case of shafts, gross damage, in particular to the gearing of the shaft and its bearing surfaces (in the case of a distorted shaft with a "knock" / uneven running, we can only refund half of the deposit amount, as additional straightening work is required), etc.).
