Description:
This offer includes a complete repair kit for the display of your VW Scirocco, Polo, or Jetta "MFA" multifunction display. The MFA was also used in other models of the same era, and this display will fit them as well. However, it is not compatible with simple digital clocks; a different display is required for those.

After many years of use and frequent temperature fluctuations, the seal of the LCD elements eventually fails, and the display leaks. Although the component itself is still fully functional, the numbers and symbols can no longer be read completely. The aging of the associated conductive rubber contacts is also a common reason for incomplete readability of the displays, even if the liquid crystal display (LCD) is still fully intact. As a "do-it-yourself" solution, even hobbyists can repair the display themselves using the components offered here, along with our support and illustrated instructions. No complex assembly or soldering is required for the repair.

Because display aging is a common problem, we generally advise against buying used, seemingly "still intact" multifunction displays. Even with these, it's only a matter of time before the display fails. Replacing your own display is therefore always the more economical and best long-term solution.
