This coupling is for connecting the shift linkage on the Porsche 928. The shift rod coupling is suitable for all 928s with manual transmission, as shown. The joint bearing has just under one millimeter of play, true to the original, to compensate for disruptive influences during driving without the gearshift lever moving. Old joints, however, wear out much more over the years and cause excessive play in the gearshift lever. Here you can get a new shift rod coupling, manufactured exactly to the original specification.
