Description:
The high-voltage capacitor discharge ignition system originated in motorsports and replaced conventional ignition systems in some vehicles. The ignition control units generate a powerful spark via an ignition transformer by means of a sudden discharge of very high voltages.
This results in a short, powerful, and precise spark with an accurately determined ignition timing, ensuring ample power reserves under all operating conditions and with high engine compression ratios.
Compared to the 6-pin HKZ, this high-voltage capacitor discharge ignition offers significantly higher ignition performance from 3000 RPM and maintains it constantly up to 10,000 RPM.
This HKZ is equipped with a rev limiter.
