Description:
The oil pump is one of the most important components in the engine. It ensures sufficient oil pressure so that the engine is supplied with enough lubricant and the lubricating film does not break down.
Especially the dry sump lubrication system common in racing depends on the oil pump being in good condition.
Therefore, the oil pump should always be checked and replaced if necessary during an engine overhaul.

The pump offered here has an increased flow rate that corresponds to the 3.2 Carrera.
The manufacturer does not specify retrofitting the bypass bore with this pump. The decision depends heavily on the engine's intended use. In most cases, the bypass is not installed.
