Description:
The release bearing plays a central role in the frictional connection between the engine and gearbox. The resulting forces can cause it to wear prematurely, so it must be replaced before the clutch is replaced. Premature wear is noticeable by squeaking noises when the clutch is engaged. The thrust bearing should then be replaced immediately.
You can get high-quality replacements here.
