Description:
The release bearing plays a central role in the positive connection between the engine and transmission. Due to the forces involved, it can wear prematurely, requiring replacement before the clutch is replaced. Premature wear is noticeable by squeaking noises when engaging the clutch. The release bearing should then be replaced immediately.
