Over the years, not only the clutch and the release bearing, but also the release fork often wear out.
When changing the clutch, the release outputs and release shaft should always be checked. The clutch can only be operated properly if it works without play and without wear.
This article can be used for the new version of the release shaft without restrictions. The later variant only uses plastic bushings in the release fork to support the shaft. In addition, the shaft is supported at the ends with two needle bearings.
The early version of the release shaft was mounted in the release fork with two needle bearings. If you have installed the old version of the release shaft, please use the set #3858.
