Description:
The dust cover can tear over the years and then no longer properly protects the ball joint. Like any rubber and plastic part on the vehicle, the bellows/boots also become porous. To avoid consequential damage, it is recommended to replace the boots promptly and on both sides. If this is not done, moisture and dirt can damage the ball joint.
