Description:

August Bilstein founded the company AUBI in Ennepetal in 1873 and began developing and supplying monotube gas pressure shock absorbers in 1954 – a significant contribution to the history of the automotive industry. From 1961, the company entered motorsport and equipped, in particular, Porsche and Formula 1 racing cars. Since then, Bilstein has stood for outstanding quality and offers diverse solutions for many premium manufacturers.
