For restoring or converting your speedometer

Description:
Speedometer dials often fade over the years and are no longer easy to read. When restoring instruments, it is therefore advisable to replace the speedometer dial. When converting miles to kilometers on imported vehicles, the speedometer dial also needs to be replaced.
Here you can find an elaborate reproduction made of polycarbonate.
There were different versions of the 928 depending on the transmission (automatic/manual).
We also offer both versions for screwing on and without holes for gluing only.

Note on installation:
Do not tighten the fastening screws of the dial, just lightly touch the dial. First, coat the threads of the screw holes (blind holes) with a little clear nail polish (use a toothpick).
The nail polish acts as a threadlocker.
Overtightening will cause the paint to peel off!
For even illumination of the numbers, the dial must be reattached with a thin, highly conductive adhesive where it was originally glued at the factory. We recommend "PolyMax-glasklar" from UHU.
Caution: Use a very thin layer!
