Excellent workmanship

Description:
If the odometer/trip meter on your vehicle has failed, then one or both of these gears are usually the cause. To avoid duplicate assembly work, we recommend replacing these two gears.

Dimensions:
Diameter E15 = 6.90mm (15 teeth)
Diameter 15-K = 15.4mm (15 teeth)
Less common alternative disc gears: 12-K, 16-Kor17-K

Important:
Unfortunately, the assignment between engine type/gearbox type/year of manufacture/model and gear type is so complex that only counting the teeth provides 100% certainty.

Quality:
Our gears are manufactured with great care and true to the original using an injection molding process; they are not 3D-printed custom designs. We work with a manufacturer that specializes in the production of plastic gears and is the global market leader in its repair solutions.
The so-called involute tooth geometry is retained; this is the only way to ensure low-friction sliding of the tooth flanks between the gear pairs.
We use the thermoplastic Celron with graphite additives. These ensure low friction and wear-free operation.

If you disassemble the speedometer beforehand, please note that the speedometer needle shaft is very sensitive. Grip the center of the speedometer needle and turn it counterclockwise. Pull gently. Friction is all that keeps the needle on the shaft.
